For the next few Blogs ( like you are going to read all of them) let us together get some ideas flowing on how you can get more money for your home, should you want or need to move. Feel free to comment , we love a good dialogue. Yes you might be spending to make, and time is money so even if it speeds up your sale that's a good thing.

  1. Be meticulous, make any repair your home will need, even minor. Your prospective buyer does not need any reason not to buy. Don't give them one!

  2. It's always time for Spring Cleaning. If it's too much for you to do there are companies that specialize in getting your house spic and span and smelling good.

  3. Garage Sales are a great way to get rid of old stuff and make room in the garage for other stuff you don't want to get rid of. For example a chair that may be really comfortable but when you see it in the room it is just too big for buyers to see around. Especially when they travel in groups, Mom, Dad, Grandma, Kids, Boyfriend, Uncle who is an expert...

  4. Which leads to the next one, Make every room look as spacious as possible. Agents love that word, SPACIOUS!

  5. Make the rooms look bright and full of sunshine. Get rid of those heavy curtains that darken the space. Let the sunshine in!

Thats a great starter strategy and that should get you going without breaking your bank and adding to your SOLD price!
