For years this annual street fest has marked the end of summer and the beginning of the school year.

Local businesses, clubs, restaurants and charities come together for three days of fun, (hopefully) sun, food and games. Kids rides dot the landscape with games and music woven in. Local restaurants and street food carts, trucks etc are in attendance tempting attendees with delicious aromas. Pubs erect “beer gardens” in front of stages where bands entertain the crowds. There is a little something for everyone.

You can meet local realtors, bankers, politicians and charitable causes. Taste of the Kingsway isn’t just for the kids. Walking the strip of Bloor Street W between Montgomery and Prince Edward can be overwhelming for the senses. It is a delight to see so many people come together and celebrate community, family and fun.

Annually this event has been a part of Etobicoke and will continue to entertain for years to come. Join in the festivities next year. Promote your local business, entice passers-by to take classes at your school or gain awareness for your charity of choice.
