Where do Our neighbourhoods in Etobicoke rank in Toronto? University of Toronto has created a slider whereby you can choose the best neighbourhood suited to you determining what is important to you. It is broken down into categories and given statistics. Housing affordability, Crime, Transit, Health, Shopping, Entertainment, Community, Diversity, Schools and Employment. You can customize the Rankings by sliding each category to the value you believe is what is best for you and your family.

Here is where these Etobicokes neighbourhoods rank when the slider is at maximum for CRIME, HEALTH, COMMUNITY and SCHOOLS.

ALDERWOOD 66, Centennial Park 93 Edenbridge Humber Valley 48 Now go to your neighbourhood and slide the categories to what is important to you  at the bottom of the page .

I don't believe that Transit ranking is taking into consideration the Airports which for business travellers this would be a major concern. Downtown neighbourhoods appear to thrive when Transit and Entertainment are figured high on your ranking. I suppose young single demographics would choose these as scaling more important on their radars as opposed to young families where health and schools rank higher.

Try it out to see where your neighbourhood ranks with what you believe to be what is most important to you. Here is the link from Toronto Life magazine
